Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
Summary of
Job Duties:
The Medical Assistant will assist the physician and nurses with various aspects of patient care (including clerical, environmental and organizational tasks) ensuring patient satisfaction. In addition to core Medical Assistant responsibilities, this position serves as a key person for the team regarding day‑today workflow issues and office procedures. The Medical Assistant must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to assess, plan care for and provide services to frail elders according to assigned responsibilities and Community LIFE standards.
Required
Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or equivalent and successful completion of a Medical Assistant program or a national medical assistant certification from a national certifying organization (AMT, AAMA, NAHP, NCCT, or NHA).
Required Experience: Two years of experience with patient care in an acute care setting. Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology, examination, diagnostic and treatment room responsibilities.

- Phlebotomy training
