- We are seeking an EDM Wire operator to work with multiple thru wire EDM machines and sinker EDM machines.
- You will be responsible for EDM machinery to cut intricate, precision parts from metal using a thin electrically charged wire.
- Experience as an EDM operator or similar machining specialist is required.
- Experience with Wire EDM machine operation and setup.
- Proficiency with CNC programing and related software.
- Program and complete the setup of EDM machine according to engineering specifications.
- Operate the machine to produce precision parts and monitor the machining process to ensure accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance on the equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
- Inspect finished parts for quality and ensure they meet all specifications.
- Familiarity with G-code programing, CAD and CAM software applications.
- Detail oriented.
- Background in tool and die making.
- Completion of apprenticeship/journey program helpful, not required.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
