Both roles are onsite and support area schools near McKeesport, PA, with a commitment to fostering student well-being and providing essential mental health and social-emotional interventions.

Available Assignments:

• Emotional support and partial hospitalization program at a McMurray campus (full-time, ASAP start, with placement running through early June 2027, subject to change).
• Long-term substitute for the California Area School District (Coal Center, PA), October 2026 through end of January 2027 (specific dates to be determined).

Candidates are encouraged to review and consider the commute to the respective school locations prior to submission. Please specify your role preference when applying.

Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Social Work or related field (required)
• Valid PA State Social Work License (required)
• PDE Educational Specialist certification (preferred; if you do not have this certification, an emergency certificate may be requested)
• Experience working in school settings or with children/adolescents is strongly desired
• Strong communication, advocacy, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities include:

• Providing individual and group support to students
• Collaborating with educational staff, families, and external partners to assess student needs and coordinate interventions
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Documenting interventions and maintaining compliance with school, district, and state requirements
• Developing and implementing behavior and social-emotional support plans
