Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with strong bookkeeping experience to support the financial operations of multiple members/entities
. This is a hands‑on, in‑office role requiring accuracy, organization, and consistency. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of accounting fundamentals and experience maintaining multiple sets of financial records with precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage general ledgers for multiple members/entities
- Perform bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations, for multiple members
- Prepare and record journal entries across multiple sets of financial records
- Process payroll entries and ensure accurate payroll reporting for assigned members
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial statements for multiple members
- Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts and investigate discrepancies across entities
- Monitor financial activity to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance for all assigned members
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis for multiple members
- Maintain organized, accurate, and up‑to‑date financial records for all members
- Collaborate with internal team members to provide financial reporting and insights
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting and bookkeeping experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles
Proficiency in Quick Books Online (QBO)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Three to Five (3-5) or more years of accounting and bookkeeping experience
- Payroll processing experience
- Experience supporting tax preparation
- Experience working with multiple entities or members
- Work Arrangement: In-office position (McKinney, TX)
- Standard business hours: 8am-5pm
- Salary Range: $70,000 – $90,000 annually
- Paid Time Off (PTO): 10 business days annually, available after completion of a 90‑day probationary period
- Mental Health Days: One paid day off per month (12 per year), available after completion of a 90‑day probationary period
- Paid Holidays: Eight (8) paid holidays per year, per company schedule
- Probationary Period: 90‑day initial performance review
