Job Description
Collin County is seeking candidates for the position of Clerk in the Community Supervision department. A Clerk CSCD is responsible for but, not limited to, providing administrative and clerical support. Work is performed under the direction of a Lead Clerk.
Primary FunctionsAnswering calls and assisting clients.
Preparing correspondence.
Maintaining files and records, entering data into computer system, and processing paperwork.
Receiving payments, balancing cash drawer and preparing bank deposits.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Must possess the knowledge necessary to understand basic operational, technical, and office processes.
Must have a level of education equivalent to four years of high school.
At least one (1) year of previous experience.
Must possess and maintain a valid Texas Drivers License with an acceptable driving record.
Must have sufficient skill to pass a typing test at the rate of 35 words per minute.
The scheduled work hours for this position are 9:00am – 6:00pm.
This position requires that you pass a typing test at the minimum rate specified above.
If you have taken a typing test with us within the last 6 monthsthatmeets or exceeds the requirements above, you do not need to take it again.
If you have never takenour typing test,have notmet the requirements above, or it has been more than 6 months since your last test, you will need to take thetest in order for your application to be complete.
Typing tests are administered in the Human Resources Testing room from 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
You do not need an appointment to test, but you will need to bring a government issued photo . If you have any questions regarding the testing, please feel free to call .
