About the Role

Our client is a private family seeking a reliable, proactive, and discreet Part‑Time Personal Assistant (15‑20 Hours Per Week) to support household operations, run errands, and provide flexible personal assistance. This hands‑on role combines administrative support, household management, and lifestyle coordination in a dynamic environment.

About you

The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, resourceful, and enjoys creating order while anticipating needs. You’ll handle a variety of tasks—from coordinating vendors to running errands and assisting with planning events—with professionalism, warmth, and full ownership. The majority of the position will focus on everyday tasks and to‑do lists.

Schedule and Location

Hours:

15‑20 hours per week, primarily Monday‑Friday during daytime hours (flexible within 9 am‑5 pm). Occasional weekend or evening availability for events or as‑needed support is required.

Location:

In‑person in the McKinney area. Frequent local driving for errands and appointments is expected.

Compensation

Competitive hourly rate $20‑$23 per hour, paid via direct deposit. This is a contractor (1099) position.

Start Date:

Targeting January 2026.

Key Responsibilities
  • Household Management & Projects – Assist with day‑to‑day household operations, home projects, coordinate contractors, vendors, landscapers, and timelines; coordinate yard/exterior maintenance and household vendors (e.g., cleaning, pool, or repair services).
  • Errands & Personal Support – Handle routine errands (grocery shopping, dry cleaning, alterations, returns, prescriptions, local pickups); manage vehicle maintenance (scheduling service, inspections, repairs).
  • Event & Lifestyle Support – Assist with planning gatherings, parties, dinners (from intimate to larger events); assist with personal projects such as creating scrapbooks or memory books; offer flexible “and more” support for evolving household and family needs.
  • Additional Support (as needed) – Light organization, inventory management, and basic meal planning/preparation; travel arrangements and calendar coordination.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • At least 2–5 years of relevant experience as a Personal Assistant, Household Manager, Executive Assistant, or similar role (experience managing your own family household counts!).
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Tech‑savvy:
    Proficiency with Mac/Apple products, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, spreadsheets, online ordering, and scheduling tools.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and high level of discretion/confidentiality.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a full background check.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Physically able to handle errands, light lifting, and occasional pet care.
