- Help create a camp environment where the Gospel is reflected in attitudes, actions, and interactions
- Encourage staff and campers through Christ‑centered leadership, modeling, and presence
- Support program elements - such as Bible Study, Rally, and key camp moments - that point campers toward Jesus
- Reinforce the spiritual goals and rhythms set by the Camp Director
- Serve as a steady, approachable presence who supports staff through challenges and celebrates wins
- Help maintain a healthy, fun, Christ‑centered team culture
- Step in to support staff across camp roles and responsibilities as needed
- Help run daily camp programming - rallies, activity classes, skits, games, transitions - with consistency and excellence
- Maintain weekly programming tools such as activity grids, monitoring grids, and schedules
- Assist in refining program elements to ensure they are fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate
- Monitor camper engagement throughout the day and step in where needed to elevate the camper experience
- Support set‑up and tear‑down of program materials and spaces
- Oversee camp logistics such as check‑in, check‑out, equipment readiness, communication systems, and evaluations
- Interact warmly and professionally with parents, ensuring a high‑quality family experience
- Complete administrative tasks including answering camp phones and email, reporting, supply ordering, printing, and organization
- Support daily operations by anticipating needs and addressing issues promptly
- Prepare weekly programming tools to ensure a cohesive, well‑executed experience
- Plan weekly skits, themes, and rally components
- Support or assign Bible Study teaching schedules
- Teach or support Bible Study from stage when assigned
- Oversee activity classes to ensure safety, engagement, and strong execution from staff
- Demonstrated spiritual maturity and commitment to Christ‑centered leadership
- Previous experience leading teams, preferably in camping, ministry, or similar environments
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to manage high‑energy, fast‑paced environments with calm and clarity
- A problem‑solving mindset and willingness to adapt as needs arise
- Availability to work on‑site Monday - Friday throughout the summer season
- Physical ability to participate in active, outdoor programming daily
- Successful completion of required training and background checks
