Position OverviewWe are seeking a certified and experienced Math Tutor to teach students in grades K-8. The ideal candidate is passionate about mathematics education and committed to student success. This role involves teaching foundational math concepts, preparing students for standardized tests (including STAAR), and supporting advanced learners in programs such as Gift & Talented, Math Kangaroo, and Math Olympiad.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver the Gen Next Math curriculum with excellence and adaptability.
- Provide targeted strategies for STAAR and other standardized test preparation.
- Prepare students for advanced programs and competitions (Gift & Talented, Math Kangaroo, Math Olympiad).
- Teach Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry to middle and high school students as needed.
- Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring personalized learning paths.
- Foster a positive, motivating, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents and the Gen Next team regarding student progress.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in ISDs or tutoring centers.
- Proven experience teaching elementary and middle school students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students with creativity and patience.
