Security Clearance: DoD Clearance:

• Performing System Safety planning, hazard analyses, and design analyses
• Briefing safety considerations at technical reviews and as part of the safety approval process
• Interpreting system requirements, customer specifications and military standards
• Preparing internal and customer reports describing various analyses relevant to the System Safety program
• Collaborating across multiple disciplines to gain a full understanding of product architecture and design
• Interfacing with other engineering functions:
  Systems Engineering, Software or Firmware Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Hardware Engineering
• Assisting and attending System Safety Working Group(s) between Raytheon and customer representatives

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM)
• 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
• Experience with developing, implementing, and/or performing System Safety Program Plans, System Safety Engineering, Safety Assessments, Hazard Analyses or Hazard Tracking

• Experience with DoD System Safety Programs e.g. MIL-STD-882
• Experience with system and software safety implementation in Agile Development environment
• Experience interfacing with Human Systems Integration showcasing execution of Human Factors Engineering tasking involving MIL-STD-1472
• Coding experience or the ability to trace electrical wiring diagrams
• Familiarity with radars, lasers or sensors

• Salary range: 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD (good faith estimate; factors include experience, location, education, and skills)

• This role is based in the United States; specific pay structure and benefits may apply if residing in a U.S. territory
