WhatYou Will Do
We have an opportunity for a motivated, self‑directed Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to support the sites in Raytheon’s Central Region, including customer and remote locations. As an EHS Manager, Central Region Support, you’ll work in a fast‑paced environment and will foster employee engagement and drive risk reduction and continuous improvement of the EHS program.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Recognizing, evaluating and controlling hazardous workplace conditions.
- Taking proactive steps to ensure the safety and health of site employees and influence safe behaviors.
- Partnering with site POCs and EHS subject matter experts to assure compliance and produce appropriate documentation for federal, state, local and company requirements.
- Executing initiatives, programs, reports and training across multiple EHS disciplines to achieve and maintain compliance.
- Investigating, analyzing and interpreting data from injuries and near‑misses, and ensuring corrective actions are completed on time.
- Interacting with employees of all levels, promoting relationships, learning the tasks employees perform and becoming a known resource at the sites within your region.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of EHS strategic initiatives that drive continuous improvement.
- Identifying environmental risk and supporting the sites’ environmental compliance programs, including hazardous waste management, stormwater and groundwater protection plans, air‑quality permitting, wastewater and toxic‑chemical reporting.
- Developing and implementing sustainability practices and programs related to waste, water, and greenhouse gases in alignment with our long‑term goals.
This role requires up to 50% travel. The position is posted as HYBRID and is based at Raytheon’s McKinney, TX facility. Any commuting costs to and from the McKinney, TX Raytheon location are the responsibility of the incumbent.
Qualifications You Must Have- Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience.
- Experience providing EHS training to internal and/or external stakeholders.
- Experience working with OSHA and/or EPA standards in a military or civilian environment.
- Experience working alone or unsupervised for long periods.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, occasionally to remote or austere environments.
- Practical knowledge of leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics.
- Experience with electrical safety, LOTO and fall protection.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD – 203,000 USD. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off and holidays (specific benefits may vary by business unit and collective‑bargaining agreement).
