Raytheon is seeking an Electrical Engineer I for factory production support.
The individual must be self-motivated and will work with a cross functional team including engineering, factory management, program management, and operations assembly and test. At RTX we value:

Your responsibilities will include evaluating test results of complex assemblies and determining root cause of failures. You will give directions for reworking and retesting failed assemblies. You will track trends to detect systemic problems. You will work closely with multiple functions such as manufacturing engineering, factory operations, and quality engineers to develop improvements in areas like yields, test procedures, cycle time, etc.
The work assignment will be a first-shift role, with core hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday with an optional 9/80 schedule. Occasional weekend work may be required to support factory operations.
- Troubleshooting systems failing test, identifying failure cause, documenting and dispositioning hardware for repair
- Operation of electrical test equipment
- Investigation of failure trends for root cause, implementation of corrective actions, supporting team leads in drafting and presenting Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) packages to management
- Participation in teams tasked with resolving technical issues, improving test yields, and reducing test cycle time
- Hands-on engagement with hardware within a factory environment
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM)
- Experience working in a lab environment with standard EE lab equipment (i.e., power meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DMMs, signal sources, logic analyzers, etc.)
- Experience in developing and implementing basic software applications
- Experience reading drawings and electrical schematics
- Experience testing and troubleshooting electrical circuits and documenting test results
- Experience developing and executing a test plan
- Experience in data analysis for identifying trends
