Responsibilities
- Responsible for aggregating and analysing project level status, facilitating the remediation of project risks, and insuring peer organizations have the resources required to deliver on time and on budget.
- Liaise between Business Finance, Front Office, Treasury and Technology to deliver the product projections and work with the Front Office to redevelop models and help validate data for ongoing model monitoring.
- Review financial and nonfinancial model inputs for quarterly testing, execute models and analyse projection results and provide assistance in model development.
- Participate in user acceptance testing to identify and highlight possible system issues. Support the continued development and analysis of stress test results provided to the Finance teams.
- Support in reviewing data integrity checks on financial results of member firms, which include P&L, Balance sheet and Cash flow details.
- Analyse firm’s financial data, including detailed analysis of P&L and Balance sheet line items.
- Develop data requirements for the financial reporting team in financial statements preparation.
- Investigates complicated and unusual fluctuations in financial results, monitoring variances, identifying key drivers and recommending actions to management.
- Work closely with developers & testers to ensure designs are translated accurately.
- Collaborates with various internal teams to assist with business enhancing efforts, by collecting and analysing data in areas, ROI modeling, product usage, and performance metrics.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and perform workflow analysis to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Perform analysis, and aid in the design, development, and implementation of solutions serving business areas.
- Support in ad-hoc analysis and working on real-time projects. Coordinate and assist with development of complex financial models, when required.
- Conduct policy reviews and assist in the development of new policy, processes and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with internal controls, identifies internal control deficiencies and proposes internal control improvements. Supports activities relating to internal and external audits.
Required
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a closely related filed, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
