Bank of America is committed to an in-office culture with specific requirements for office-based attendance and flexibility based on role-specific considerations. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements for residential loan mortgage originations.

As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), you will begin by obtaining Securities Industry licenses, with dedicated classes for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 Exams
.

Once licensed, you will learn foundational skills to advise clients by considering a client’s complex financial picture and delivering solutions that help them live their best financial lives, while humanizing financial interactions. After reaching key milestones, you will work in a financial center delivering Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions, and client care. The Academy will support you with programs, tools, and resources throughout your career journey.

Typically, after demonstrated success as a licensed FSA I, you will progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II
, continuing to grow relationships within a client portfolio. This role provides opportunities to advance in many positions within Bank of America and Merrill, with ongoing Academy support.

This position may require participation in the SAFE Act background check and registration process. Failure to obtain or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in termination.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, some Saturdays required. Schedule examples: 8am-5pm, 9am-6pm, etc.

  • Receive training and one-on-one coaching from Academy managers who are invested in your success.
  • Grow your business knowledge by using a defined consultative approach with clients to systematically identify client needs and appropriate solutions.
  • Earn SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 licenses (63 & 65 accepted, in lieu of 66); structured lessons and dedicated study time. You must obtain your SIE within 30 days of hire and your Series 7 & 66 within 120 days.
  • Build your network by interacting with banking customers, small business owners, and higher net worth clients at a financial center, and leverage relationships to grow your business.
  • Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice, deliver client reviews/presentations with confidence, and recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients to solutions from Bank of America and Merrill.
