Position Summary
We are seeking a client-focused Financial Analyst to join our growing team. This role involves working closely with clients to support their financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities. The Financial Analyst will ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, driving strategic client decisions and enhancing overall financial performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with clients to develop, analyze, and interpret financial data and reports.
- Prepare and present budget forecasts and monthly financial variance analysis to clients.
- Support clients through month-end and year-end closing processes by reviewing and reconciling financial statements.
- Provide strategic insights by evaluating client financial performance compared to plans and forecasts.
- Assist in creating customized financial models and reports tailored to client-specific needs.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency for clients.
- Maintain current knowledge of financial regulations, best practices, and industry trends to advise clients effectively.
- Coordinate with clients and auditors to facilitate financial audits and ensure compliance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- 25% travel
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail with a client-oriented mindset.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Education & Experience
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and client-facing roles
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems is advantageous.
