The 200+ expert physicians at Methodist McKinney Hospital cover a broad range of specialties.

• Counseling patients and scheduling surgeries for multiple physicians.
• Schedule surgeries and work with primary care physicians daily to ensure each patient has their history and physicals completed prior to surgery.
• Complete all necessary paperwork for each procedure on the physicians’ schedule.
• Precertify any procedures on the schedule that require pre‑certification.
• Capable of multi‑tasking and working with a diverse patient population.
• Provide back‑up support for the Front Office as needed.
• Other duties as needed.

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of scheduling experience.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred).
• Experience in a surgical facility preferred.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Language skills adequate for written and interpersonal communication.
• Visual and auditory acuity adequate for frequent computer use and occasional other business office equipment.
• Ability to sit for long periods and perform desk and office activities.
