Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
Join Touchmark’s Emerald Lake community as a part‑time Certified Medication Aide. You will enrich residents’ daily lives by ensuring medication systems are accurate, compassionate, and safe.
Responsibilities- Administer medication to residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care settings.
- Document and track medication doses in compliance with state regulations.
- Collaborate with nursing and therapeutic staff to achieve individualized care plans.
- Remain current with medication system updates and best practices.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- State medical certification (Med-Tech) or C.N.A. required in Texas.
- Minimum one year experience as a Med-Tech or medication aide.
- Minimum one year experience in a Memory Care setting.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Compassionate, trustworthy, and genuine interest in geriatrics.
- Part‑time, 15–20 hours per week.
- Shifts:
Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday; 6:00–2:00 pm, 2:00–10 pm, or 10 pm‑6 am.
Starting at $19.00 per hour, wages increase with experience.
