Human Resources Business Partner - Corporate Office

Position PurposeThe HR Business Partner is responsible for translating strategic business objectives into proactive HR priorities that drive organizational effectiveness and talent management within the Corporate Office business unit. Acting as a trusted strategic advisor, the partner consults on high-impact human capital issues including organizational design, performance management, workforce planning, and change leadership, ensuring successful implementation of HR programs, policies, and frameworks across the unit.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Consultation & Partnership:
Proactively consults with regional leadership and branch management to provide HR guidance on maximizing business performance and achieving strategic goals. - Organizational Design & Workforce Planning:
Provides guidance on organizational restructures, capacity planning, and succession planning for long-term talent readiness. - Performance & Development:
Drives a high-performance culture by coaching on performance management frameworks, leadership development, and disciplinary actions. - Talent Analytics:
Analyzes workforce trends, metrics, and data to develop data-driven solutions and policies. - Risk Mitigation & Compliance:
Manages complex associate relations issues, participates in investigations, and maintains expertise in labor law to reduce legal risk and ensure compliance. - Culture & Engagement:
Partners to enhance work relationships, build morale, and increase associate engagement and retention through initiatives. - Project Leadership:
Leads the evaluation and implementation of strategic training and development programs to close critical skill gaps.
- No direct supervisory responsibilities; serves as a key coach and mentor for HR Specialists, Coordinators, and other HR positions.
- Up to 25‑30% for branch visits, regional meetings, and leadership academies.
- Operate standard office equipment and remain stationary for extended periods.
- Full-time position; standard business hours (Mon‑Fri, 8:30 a.m.‑5 p.m.). Flexibility and long hours may be required to meet critical deadlines.
- 8‑10 years progressive experience in Human Resources, driving transformation, complex relations, and HR initiatives.
- Experience as an HRBP within a large, multi‑location organization focused on business impact.
- Working knowledge of benefits, compensation, talent management, organizational development, labor relations, diversity and inclusion, and employment law.
- Hands‑on, team‑driven approach with adaptability to growth and change.
- Change leadership and managing large‑scale transformations.
- Experience in non‑exempt/operational workforce environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Master’s degree in Human Resources Management (MHRM) or MBA with HR focus.
- 8 years
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM‑CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM‑SCP) credential required.
