We are seeking an experienced Varicent ICM Developer to design, develop, and manage incentive compensation plans within the Varicent platform.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical and functional expertise in Varicent ICM, including data modeling, workflows, reporting, and calculation logic.
Experience in the life insurance domain and cloud migration is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Development
- Configure Varicent ICM components including data models, workflows, reports, and calculation logic based on business requirements.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines to ingest and process sales data into the Varicent platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications for compensation plans.
- Perform unit testing, data validation, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure accuracy of incentive calculations.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to compensation calculations, reporting, and data integrity.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including configuration guides and data flow diagrams.
- Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure timely and accurate incentive payments.
- 5–7 years of experience working with Varicent ICM.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and reporting.
- Experience with ETL methodologies and building data pipelines.
- Familiarity with sales compensation concepts and commission structures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Experience migrating to Varicent ICM Cloud.
- Functional knowledge of agency commissions management in the life insurance sector.
- Domain knowledge in insurance or telecommunications.
- Experience with Varicent modules such as Composer, Reports, Web Forms, and Schedule.
