The successful candidate will be part of a manufacturing assembly team that is involved with microelectronic components. You will have annual training requirements in topics ranging from safety, hazardous materials, quality systems, and other topics.
Compressed C Shift Scheduled Hours- Thursday – Saturday and every other Wednesday 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM onsite.
- Manual assembly tasks, solder, operating semi and automated processing equipment, operating ovens, using a microscope to perform and inspect work
- Sit and stand for prolonged period
- Follow detailed written work instructions using our Factory Operating System (FOS), create nonconformances in FOS, and perform rework
- Communicate effectively, multi-task, and be flexible with the work assignments
- Perform repetitive tasks in accordance with an established, proven process and perform in‑process inspection in accordance with company standards and customer specifications
- Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience in a microelectronics manufacturing environment within the aerospace or defense industry
- Solder experience to Military and/or ANSI/J standards is highly desired
- Microelectronic assembly experience
- Strong safety focus
- Positive attitude and teaming skills needed
- Demonstrated drive for continuous improvement
- A successful candidate would be able to accomplish daily work tasks with minimal supervision
- Hand/finger dexterity and attention to detail
- Basic computer and math skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Effective time management skills are a must
