Pay Range: $16- $21 an hour
12 MONTH CONTRACT
As a test operator for the EODAS factory, your job will be to verify the functionality and quality of next generation technology for the warfighter. You will be required to work closely with assembly operators and engineers. You will be required to perform a variety of tasks that include setting up tests, reporting test results, troubleshooting test failures, and performing special projects as needed.
Required Skills:- Minimum of 2 years of work experience
- Experience working with minimal supervision
- Self-Motivated
- Ability to read, understand and follow test instructions including technical drawings and testing process documents
- The use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for 8+ hours a day is required
- Ability to work weekends and/or overtime as required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, running multiple electrical test machines or equipment simultaneously
- US Citizenship is required
- Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance
- This position is located on a large Raytheon campus that employs over 4,500 employees across 21 buildings on a 304-acre site. The role requires the ability to walk long distances between buildings and work areas throughout the day.
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per shift)
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials or equipment weighing up to 25 - 55 pounds as needed
- Manual dexterity to handle tools, test equipment, and small components
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods (8+ hours)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production or test environment
- Visual acuity to read test instructions, technical drawings, and digital displays
Skills:
- Ability to train others in testing processes once certified
- Experience using shop floor management software (CMES, SAP, etc.) or similar
- High school, secondary school or equivalent
- Technical certificate or associate's degree is preferred
