Job Summary:

Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) with experience in proposal writing and interested in hands-on involvement. The MPM will be highly motivated and capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives. This candidate will successfully interface with all levels of internal management and external supplier management. This role is in support of the Advanced Programs portfolio of proprietary programs located onsite in McKinney, Texas.

This position is contingent upon a contract award. Employment in this role will only be extended if the program is awarded to the Munitions portfolio. The ideal candidate will have project management skills and be directly accountable for ensuring overall execution of materials management. Ensure program success to cost/schedule/quality, and partner with our internal acquisitions team to manage supplier performance in meeting program needs.

What You Will Do:

* Provide comprehensive Supply Chain support for Gates 0-11 activities and ensures IPDP compliance for the programs and tailoring when applicable.

* Test equipment strategy and procurement management

* Owner the supplier management process including supplier performance, Supply Chain metrics, international issues, Make/Buy Where strategy, strategic agreements, and communication of customer flow through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc.

* Develop and lead supply chain proposal activities including task descriptions and bases of estimates.

* Develop and execute risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives.

* Identify and develop opportunities for small business participation.

* Be a member of the program office that participates in Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings.

* Work closely with Engineering, Quality and Operations to create a schedule based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP).

* Monitor and proactively act to address performance and financial metrics including those related to cost, schedule, quality and EVM.

* Responsible for financial tasks related to material including developing and tracking budgets, targets, working capital, initiating & maintaining accurate sales forecasts, short-range outlooks (SRO), material EACs, sales and operating Plans and Annual Operating Plans (AOP).

* Act as the Control Account Manager (CAM) for material and SCM labor.

* Flow down Program Requirements and Supplier Management Best Practices to suppliers which include risk mitigation and subcontract management plans. Qualifications You Must Have:
* Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience

* Project management and proposal writing experience Qualifications We Prefer:
* Supply chain experience in the Aerospace or Defense industry.

* Experience with tactical application of strategies to programs.

* Earned Value Management (EVM) certification or equivalent.

* Working experience as a Cost Account Manager.
