A day in the life

You arrive, gear up, and review the production plan. You set up your machine to precise specifications, verify tooling, and run first-piece checks. Through the shift, you monitor gauges and HMI screens, make routine adjustments, and inspect product quality using measuring tools. You document results, flag any abnormal trends, and collaborate with teammates to solve issues quickly. You finish by cleaning your area, completing production records, and handing off clearly to the next operator.

What you’ll do Operate, observe, and care for manufacturing equipment to meet output and quality targets.

Set up machines to specification and perform changeovers as required.

Conduct in-process inspections; perform basic troubleshooting to keep lines running.

Accurately complete production, quality, and maintenance documentation.

Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements; keep a neat, orderly workspace.

Report hazards or equipment concerns immediately and support corrective actions.

Apply work instructions and quality standards; use measurement and inspection tools.

Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.

Compensation & schedule

Starting pay: $17.00–$19.00 per hour Night shift differential:
Additional $2.00 per hour

Schedule:

12-hour shifts with overtime and weekend work as needed

What you bring

High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Manufacturing experience (preferred)
Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn equipment

Basic math, reading, and computer proficiency

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately

Strong attention to detail; collaborative mindset

Willingness to work any shift, plus overtime and weekends as needed

Physical nature of the work Stand for extended periods
