Job Description

Join Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - McKinney as a Registered Nurse and be part of something better! Our Oncology unit is a fast‑paced environment that includes high acuity patients. The unit includes medical and surgical oncology patients and occasionally administers IV chemotherapy.

Patient Population:
Majority of our patients are medical. Participation includes patient ratios of 1:4 and 16 beds. The hospital is a Commission on Cancer recognized facility, a Sammons Cancer Center, and provides Nurse Navigators, Child Life Specialists, and a fully staffed Supportive and Palliative Care Team. Nurses are expected to become chemotherapy certified within the first 6 months of employment.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum of 2 years experience
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer
