This part‑time role focuses on making communities healthier by providing assessment and crisis support within our behavioral health unit.

Part‑time.

• Work with internal and external customers to identify patients appropriate for admission to the Behavioral Health Unit.
• Conduct crisis assessments as identified in the job functions.
• Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
• Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
• Communicate changes in patient clinical condition with physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager and Director of Intake and Admission.

• Current state RN license.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BCLS certification (ACLS preferred).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a psychiatric setting.
• Experience in crisis counseling and crisis evaluations preferred.
