Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Baybrooke Village Care and Rehab Center in McKinney, TX is looking for Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team. The role involves working an 8‑hour shift (6 am‑2 pm, Sunday‑Thursday) providing personal care to residents, assisting the charge nurse, and contributing to a multidisciplinary team that focuses on rehabilitation and wellness.

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort consistent with community policy.
• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
• Advises supervising charge nurse of resident’s status at the beginning and end of shift.
• Contribute knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans.
• Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure.
• Observe and report on residents’ conditions, and document observations as required.
• Comply with procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of residents per established policies and procedures.
• Perform moderate to heavy lifting.
• Ensure that equipment is clean and functional.
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as required to maintain a clean, hazard‑free environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

• State certification as a nursing assistant.
• Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant.
• Highly developed observation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
