American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring Meditech experience and TNCC certification on a night shift schedule.

• Work in a Level 2 Trauma Emergency Department covering Main ED and PBED, 37 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:4 within zone assignments
• Uses GE monitors for patient equipment
• Charts in Meditech EMR
• Night shift schedule, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• 4 weekend shifts required within a 4-week period
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to ED patients admitted to hospital holding in the ED

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Meditech EMR experience required
• Strong patient experience and communication skills required

• Provide direct patient care within a high-acuity Level 2 Trauma ED setting
• Work alongside a team structure including charge RNs, staff RNs, and techs/paramedics on each shift
• Royal blue scrub top and bottom required for dress code
• High energy, self-motivated, and amicable personality preferred for team fit
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
