Travel RN - Mother Baby - Post Partum

American Traveler is hiring a Postpartum RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring mother baby experience and NRP certification.

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Mother baby experience required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in postpartum specialty
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Postpartum unit with 25 beds caring for postpartum moms and GYN surgery patients
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Uses Meditech and CPN EMR systems
• Night shift schedule, 7P-7A
• Every other weekend required with no on-call responsibilities
• Provide nursing care to postpartum mothers and patients recovering from GYN surgeries
• Warm and bubbly personality preferred as best fit for the unit
• Royal blue scrub attire required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates considered
• First-time travelers may be considered
