Job OverviewThe Sales Representative is responsible for the direct sale of new homes. The Sales Representative provides sales expertise and ensures existing and potential customers are provided with an exceptional customer experience throughout all stages of their home buying process.
Primary Responsibilities- Act as primary point of contact for customers. Consult with prospective customers to assess their needs and requirements, and recommend appropriate products.
- Maintain relationships with customers throughout the home buying process and ensure their expectations are accurately relayed and priced.
- Meet or exceed sales targets by promoting sales to existing customers and by identifying/soliciting potential customers.
- Find new and creative ways to market yourself and our homes to drive traffic while maintaining Qualico’s reputation.
- Remain up-to-date with the specifications and ongoing promotions of market competitors, customer needs and market trends.
- Liaise with the project management team throughout the building process to ensure the customer’s requirements met and clearly communicated.
- Supervise, develop and provide guidance to Sales Assistants. Ensure clear direction given and that work is carried out in a safe manner.
- High School Diploma, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in New Home Sales.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
- Comfortable using office equipment, Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and SharePoint) and customer relationship management or accounting software (Hubspot, New Star, etc.).
- Creating trusting and successful working relationships.
- Cooperating with team members in an open, positive and respectful manner.
- Setting clear, measurable and achievable goals.
- Taking responsibility for the outcomes of decisions and actions.
- Consistently meeting customer expectations.
- Continuously pursuing learning and growth.
You primarily work in a show home or sales center with regular travel to off‑site meetings and construction sites. Hours are primarily regular business hours with several evening and/or weekend shifts required.
