- Greet visitors and employees professionally while monitoring access to the location.
- Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises to deter unauthorized access.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and problem‑solving, following site‑specific policies and procedures.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
- Communicate security‑related concerns and observations to Allied Universal management and client representatives as appropriate.
- Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site protocols, including coordinating with emergency personnel when needed.
- Provide customer service by answering inquiries and directing individuals to the appropriate areas within the location.
- Access control or badge experience preferred.
- Guard card or license preferred.
- State, county or city‑issued security license preferred.
- Alarm panel experience preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Background investigation required in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements subject to state or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
- Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
