Under general supervision, performs technical tasks in the operation, maintenance and repair of the water and wastewater utility concrete repairs. Employees in this job series perform technical, manual work. Water Utilities Concrete Restoration Technicians are responsible for repairing water utility cuts and operate and maintain moderate to complex equipment. They perform related work as required.

• Assists crew members with small hand tools like shovels and concrete rakes.
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and tools by cleaning and servicing regularly.
• Cleans and repairs work site upon completion of construction or projects..
• Assists preparing work areas and securing job sites by setting up cones, barricades, and other traffic control devices with supervision.
• Assists with setting up forms and rebar for street cut repairs with supervision.
• Operates simple to moderately complex equipment, such as jack hammers, tampers, grinders and motorized hand tools.
• Works efficiently with iPads while entering work orders within City Works.
