Cordia Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant. This role is responsible for managing key accounting functions, including journal entries, financial consolidations, account reconciliations, and audit support. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Experience with Oracle is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidations

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies

• Assist in internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and support

• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for process improvements

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software;
Oracle experience is a plus

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
