Senior AP Specialist

Base pay range

$70,000 – $80,000 per year

$70,000 – $85,000 base + annual performance bonus

• Own the full AP process in a multi-company environment
• Prepare and manage 1099 reporting from start to finish
• Route, review, and process high-volume invoices
• Manage vendor payments, approvals, and check runs
• Work closely with Accounting Managers and Project Accountants
• Support system upgrades and automation initiatives (AP & expense tools)
• Maintain accurate records, schedules, and audit-ready documentation
• Ensure deadlines are met during peak periods

• Prior experience using Sage (Sage 300 CRE strongly preferred)
• Senior-level AP experience in a multi-entity, high-volume environment
• Hands‑on experience with 1099 preparation and filing
• Strong organizational and process-driven mindset
• Comfortable working fully in‑office initially
• Professional maturity – calm under pressure, accountable, dependable

• Experience with real estate, construction, or development accounting
• Exposure to AP automation or expense platforms (Ramp, , Timber Scan, etc.)
• Experience supporting system conversions or process improvements
• Basic Excel – comfort with workflow tracking is key
