Compensation: $150-170K + bonus structure (depending on experience)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Revenue Accountant with strong ASC 606 expertise to own revenue recognition for SaaS contracts, including usage-based arrangements. This role will oversee accurate revenue accounting, evaluate complex contract terms, and partner with cross-functional teams to support reporting and scalable accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities- Own revenue recognition for usage-based SaaS arrangements, including evaluating contract terms and determining appropriate recognition under ASC 606.
- Review customer contracts to identify performance obligations, assess variable consideration, allocate transaction prices, and document accounting conclusions.
- Manage revenue-related month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and deferred and unbilled revenue schedules.
- Partner with Sales, Legal, Billing, and Finance to assess revenue implications of new contracts, renewals, and modifications.
- Prepare technical accounting documentation and support revenue-related audit requests.
- Improve revenue accounting processes, controls, and reporting as the business grows.
- Active CPA required.
- 8+ years of ASC 606/revenue recognition experience.
- SaaS industry experience required.
- Must have directly owned revenue recognition for usage-based arrangements
, including responsibility for accounting conclusions and ongoing revenue accounting. - Strong understanding of complex revenue arrangements, variable consideration, and contract modifications.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
