The ECS headquarters team provides key support for its electrical and mechanical companies, including finance, accounting, human resources, legal, national purchasing, and information technology.
Compensation Range: $65,000 – $85,000. This position is bonus eligible.
- Assist with the initial intake of Vista support team tickets from operating companies and coordinate appropriate team resources to address the needs.
- Track status of open support tickets and follow up with operating company and internal support on status to make sure issues are properly prioritized and resolved.
- Coordinate submission of tickets to Trimble when internal ECS support resources are not able to resolve and help follow up on status.
- Address and support Level 1 Vista user needs with customer service focused attitude and demeanor.
- Manage master list of reports, inquiries and notifiers within our packages and keep documentation updated.
- Address report needs by evaluating whether there are existing package reports that meet the needs or if an operating company specific report is needed, and if so be able to scope out and document report needs for report writer.
- Work with Vista Support Manager to organize and manage workflow of Vista package changes including assistance with documentation, testing, communication and training to operating companies.
- Assist with presentations on updates to package reports.
- Assist with planning, coordination and execution of training for end users including monthly user calls to provide training and best practice information.
- Work with support & implementation teams to pull together content & publish monthly newsletters with updates to operating companies.
- Organize content available within internal Teams site to help make it user friendly and easy for operating companies to find resources they need.
- Plan and organize annual in‑person user conference.
- Ability to travel infrequently as business needs arise; anticipate travel to be approximately 10% of work time.
- At least two years of professional experience in a technology‑related or ERP setting, or project management;
Vista experience preferred. - Experience with reviewing and helping communicate changes to rapidly updating project management software systems.
- Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to prioritize multiple project tasks with excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced Office computer skills and versatility; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint a must.
- A self‑starter with insight into company goals, product, and project’s needs, implementing strategies, taking on extra tasks, etc. to meet/exceed those goals and needs.
- Demonstrated ability to multi‑task and efficiently prioritize requests; experienced and comfortable with meeting high quality standards to prioritize and make sure deadlines are met.
- Proven track record of dependability, reliability, and personal accountability, including working independently under limited supervision.
- Experience in construction industry preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and self‑directed.
- Must have strong written/grammatical skills as extensive writing is involved.
- Must have strong oral communication, including informative, persuasive, and colloquial speaking skills.
- Must have strong “people skills” and work well under pressure and strict deadlines.
- Ability to build positive working relationships using effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to read and interpret communication styles of diverse team members who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
- Must have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English, cooperate, and collaborate with multiple levels of customer, employees, unions, government agencies, vendors and suppliers, and other contractor organizations.
