The Independent Living Marketing Counselor is responsible for achieving occupancy goals by managing the full sales cycle—from initial inquiry to move-in. This includes prospect management, community outreach, networking, CRM tracking, and collaboration with marketing and operations. The Counselor also serves as a public ambassador for Vinson Hall, ensuring brand standards and delivering exceptional service to prospective residents and their families.

Education & Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of successful sales, customer service, or marketing experience, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or insurance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Human Services or related field preferred.
• Experience with older adults and/or military personnel preferred.

Responsibilities

Sales and Lead Management (65%)

Manage and nurture prospects through multiple communication channels, deliver personalized sales presentations and follow-ups, meet or exceed sales goals, maintain accurate CRM records, and collaborate with marketing to ensure smooth transitions and paperwork completion.

Sales Process & Reporting (30%)

Oversee the full reservation process, ensure accurate use of sales systems and documentation, actively participate in meetings and CRM reviews, and provide timely reporting of sales activity and forecasts.

Support marketing and outreach by participating in events, representing the community externally, assisting with marketing materials, and monitoring competitors and market trends.
