Job Summary

Director, Global Compensation Lead at KPMG US.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implementation, and administration of global compensation programs for over two thousand secondees aligned with member firm compensation principles and KPMGI business objectives.
  • Adapt compensation frameworks to align with global business objectives, member firm guidelines, local laws, industry standards, and market trends.
  • Collaborate closely with local HR and compensation teams to ensure consistent application of their compensation principles and policies across global locations.
  • Work with the Finance Business Planning team to forecast and manage the compensation budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost control.
  • Employ advanced analytics to evaluate global compensation trends and organizational requirements and provide data‑driven insights and strategic recommendations to leadership.
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.
Qualifications
  • Minimum twelve years of recent experience in global compensation management, focusing on strategic planning, modeling, implementation, and transformation across multiple international markets.
  • Master's degree from an accredited university or certification as a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred; bachelor’s in business, HR, or related field required.
  • Experience with HRIS and compensation management software (e.g., Success Factors), proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with Power BI.
  • Deep understanding of compensation principles and practices in a global professional services or similar complex organization.
  • Exceptional communication, change management, and interpersonal skills for engaging stakeholders across cultures and geographies.
  • Superior consultative, analytical, and organizational skills; ability to think strategically and link action plans to critical business priorities.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment‑based visa sponsorship now or in the future; KPMG LLP will not sponsor this opportunity.
Benefits and Compensation

The salary range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $155,000 – $311,000. KPMG offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, 401(k), and personal well‑being benefits.
