Within Capital One, Global Enterprise Affairs (GEA) is an organization dedicated to delivering on Capital One’s Mission by strengthening our reputation, deepening our relationships in our communities, managing engagement with the federal bank regulatory agencies, and serving as Capital One’s voice in the legislative and political processes at the federal, state and local levels.
The GEA organization comprises Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Strategy & Program Management, Global Policy Affairs Group, Regulatory Affairs, Global Enterprise Communications, Community Finance, Community Impact & Investment, and the GEA Command Center.
The CRA Strategy & Program Management (S&PM) team partners with lines of business across the enterprise to sustain Capital One’s longstanding Outstanding CRA performance. We maintain high data quality and control standards, and develop and support effective strategies with each applicable business. Most importantly, we manage CRA examinations by showing the bank examiners how Capital One effectively responds to the lending, investment, and service needs of the communities where we do business.

The CRA Strategy & Program Management Data Management, Analysis, Technology & Automation (DATA) team seeks a highly analytical, self‑directed, and dedicated professional to assume a pivotal technology risk management role. The successful candidate will contribute directly to maintaining the organization's record of Outstanding CRA performance by overseeing the accuracy and completeness of regulatory data workflows, ensuring rigorous quality assurance, and enforcing alignment with established technology compliance and information security control frameworks.
ResponsibilitiesProvide operational support for governance, risk management, and compliance control processes. Deliver strategic risk advisory services and oversight for technology-related operations, offering expert guidance across assigned business functions. Cultivate and sustain key stakeholder partnerships to foster cross‑functional collaboration throughout the enterprise. Identify, monitor, and manage risk events and issues to safeguard the organization. Partner with relevant business units to execute remediation strategies.
Maintain operational oversight to verify that assigned controls function as intended, ensure alignment with corporate policies and standards, and deliver specialized risk consulting. Conduct rigorous evaluations of control designs, execute effective challenges, and drive continuous control optimization. Collaborate with technology partners to enhance operational efficiency and advance process automation.

Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree or Military experience At least 1 years of Technical Risk Management or Audit experience Proficient in Google Products and Microsoft Excel
