Our client is a major financial enterprise dedicated to supporting housing markets and promoting sustainable home ownership nationwide. The Business Analyst supports end-to-end solution delivery by translating business needs into clear requirements, improving outcomes across stakeholders. This is a full time contract position, onsite, based in McLean, Virginia, paying $45-$53 per hour.
Responsibilities- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders
- Design and document process and data flows
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements and specifications
- Define project objectives and support feasibility analysis efforts
- Support development activities and systems integration testing
- Develop user acceptance testing strategies, plans, and test scripts
- Partner with business and technical teams to drive alignment and delivery
- Communicate updates, risks, and requirements clearly to varied audiences
- Experience working as a business analyst within the mortgage industry
- Ability to interface effectively between business and technical teams
- Understanding of the end-to-end software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Experience with requirements gathering and business analysis
- Experience translating business requirements into technical requirements
- Experience supporting systems integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Knowledge of manual and automation testing approaches
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
