A family in McLean, Virginia is looking for a warm, dependable, experienced daytime newborn nanny to care for their son, due in early December 2026. This is a temporary role lasting 12–16 weeks, and it can be live-in or live-out. The job is focused entirely on attentive, hands-on care of the newborn during the day. The family wants someone calm, quiet, and consistent who has real experience caring for infants in a private home.
The household already has a housekeeper, a personal assistant, and a social media manager, so you’ll need to be comfortable working alongside other staff. The family also has three friendly dogs: a Mini Goldendoodle and two Pomeranians. A separate overnight newborn care provider covers nights, and your shifts won’t overlap. You’ll keep in touch through written notes and texts so the baby’s feeding, sleep, and daily routines stay consistent around the clock.
BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay, payroll with taxes withheld, benefits package (details shared at offer stage), live-in or live-out option, supportive household with staff in place
