Machine Learning Trainer

Fuel is seeking an experienced training instructor with a background in advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning to work in McLean, VA. The instructor will teach machine learning concepts and capabilities (software product) to a wide audience including executives, managers, analysts, technologists, and data scientists. The instructor should have experience developing curriculum and measuring learning. The goal of the training curriculum is to enhance AIML acumen and appreciation and to prepare the workforce for the future.

Ideally, this instructor would have classroom experience, curriculum development experience, analytic or targeting systems/tools experience, and experience with machine learning capabilities. While the latter is desired, the candidate’s capacity to learn about machine learning will suffice.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

• 10 years of classroom instruction experience
• 5 years of curriculum development experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of intelligence community foundation capabilities including analysis, targeting, collection, and operations
• Training intelligence community audiences in any or all of these disciplines
• Very strong communication skills
• Upbeat, energetic, confident personal presence
• Top Secret with Polygraph clearance required

EXTRA CREDIT FOR UNICORN-LIKE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Exposure to and understanding of data science or hard sciences
• Coding skills in Python and/or R
