Grants InstructorsManagement Concepts, Inc. Management Concepts Instructors engage audiences that reflect the breadth of the federal grants community. You must be comfortable delivering courses to an array of federal grant program managers and administrators, and recipients (state and local governments, tribal governments, nonprofits, universities, and for-profit entities).

All Management Concepts Instructors are skilled in the course content, instructional techniques, and adult learning theory. We require that you present information in an objective, unbiased manner. At the same time, you will add value to the written material by offering relevant professional experience and engaging students in the learning process.
Duties & Responsibilities- Present 1, 2, and 3‑day courses to groups of up to 35 students; in‑person, virtual deliveries, and/or blended approach
- Apply principles of adult learning in course presentations
- Participate in Management Concepts training on course ware, classroom technologies, and other topics to enhance the student experience
- Deliver material according to Instructor Guide and pursuant to published course descriptions and schedules
- Provide timely and actionable feedback on course materials
- Deliver tailored/custom versions of courses for client sessions
- Possess a strong understanding of 2 CFR 200 (Uniform Guidance), including recent updates, and have the ability to navigate the guidance and explain key provisions to students
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Federal grants process from pre‑award through closeout
- Explain legal requirements and best practices in the grants environment clearly and accurately
- Leverage lived experience to enhance course materials and provide participants with real‑life examples and best practices
- Ability to answer student questions and support answers with citations to uniform administrative requirements and cost principles, where applicable
- Go "deep" into topics ranging from how to apply and manage grants to monitoring to Single Audits
- 10+ years' experience in Federals grants and financial assistance at a Federal awarding agency, pass‑through entity, or recipient organization
