Technical Solutions Engineer

Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor), an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA, is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in the McLean area, requiring onsite 3x times per week.

• Engage with clients to understand challenges and develop appropriate proof of concepts and technical solutions
• Support delivery management, relationship building with key stakeholders, business growth aspects, program support, and customer satisfaction
• Lead technical discussions and presentations
• Continuously evaluate existing and emerging technologies
• Hands on support of all stages of proposal efforts
• Provide technical leadership to Center of Excellence to build out proof concepts
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of specific experience as a Technical Solutions Engineer supporting software development and cloud transformation related programs for Federal Government clients.
• Technical experience working hands on with current technologies for modernization, digital transformation, and AI/Machine Learning.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills (e.g., ability to generate and present briefings on corporate capabilities to key stakeholders, write proposals, articulate technology solutions, etc.)
• Working knowledge of all facets of information technology specifically Application Development & Modernization
