Overview
Big Bear.ai is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with an active TS/SCI poly clearance to join and assist and meetmission needs for our government customers. This role will be performed onsite at the assigned customer location.
What you will do- Monitor customer’s Risk Management Framework and its related networks to ensure optimized performance and security
- Support patching, upgrading, and migrating of Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
- Support agile activities for systems including release planning, sprint planning, and retrospectives to gather and incorporate lessons learned into engineering processes.
- Work with developers during the normal application development life cycle to build features that deliver value to our customers
- Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience
- Active TS/SCI with Poly
- Minimum of 3 years as a Network Engineer (within the last 3 years)
- Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Proficient with Linux and Windows. Linux and/or Windows system administration experience is a plus.
- CCNA or CCNP certification.
- Security+ certification.
- Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources.
- Ansible/Salt scripts
- AWS/VMs
