Overview
Big Bear.ai is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator with an active TS/SCI with Poly clearance to join and assist and meet mission needs for our government customer. This role will be performed onsite at the assigned customer location.
What you will do- Manage customer’s Risk Management Framework and related systems to ensure optimized performance and security
- Support patching, upgrading, and migrating of Linux systems and VMs.
- Support agile activities for systems including release planning, sprint planning, and retrospectives to gather and incorporate lessons learned into engineering processes.
- Work with developers during the normal application development life cycle to build features that deliver value to our customers
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of SA experience
- Proficient with Linux. Minimum of 3 years Linux system administration experience (within the last 3 years).
- Knowledge of physical and virtual servers.
- Experience researching and creating solutions to close IAVA’s.
- Ansible experience
- Experience in building and maintaining VMware environments.
- Security + cert
- AWS experience
- Scripting experience (Python/Perl)
- Docker experience
