Senior Network Engineer Poly

Overview

Big Bear.ai is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with an active TS/SCI poly clearance to join and assist and meet mission needs for our government customers. This role will be performed onsite at the assigned customer location.

• Monitor customer’s Risk Management Framework and its related networks to ensure optimized performance and security
• Support patching, upgrading, and migrating of Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
• Support agile activities for systems including release planning, sprint planning, and retrospectives to gather and incorporate lessons learned into engineering processes.
• Work with developers during the normal application development life cycle to build features that deliver value to our customers

• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience
• Active TS/SCI with Poly
• Minimum of 3 years as a Network Engineer (within the last 3 years)
• Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Proficient with Linux and Windows. Linux and/or Windows system administration experience is a plus.
• CCNA or CCNP certification.
• Security+ certification.

• Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources.
• Ansible/Salt scripts
• AWS/VMs
