Job Summary

We are seeking a Systems Engineer as part of a bid process associated with a Statement of Work. Candidates are encouraged to submit their information and resumes highlighting their relevant experience.
Position Responsibilities- Provide support for all project management functions that fall under each of the technology portfolio initiatives.
- Review project tasks, schedules, and resources and make changes or additions, as appropriate.
- Create/update program management related documents (e.g., Project Schedules/Plans, PMRs, Quarterly Portfolio Review, IPT Meeting Minutes/Agendas).
- Measure, track and evaluate progress weekly against the technical initiative and project plans.
- Develop and maintain an Equipment Configuration Library for all Checked Baggage Transportation Security Equipment (TSE) to include standard deployment configurations and Hardware/Software baseline tracking.
- Support the Engineering team in developing and maintaining the following documentation, process flows, templates, and industry communication for the EDS Rolling Qualified Products List.
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and review of QMPs.
- Advise and execute strategic external communication events and presentations, such as Industry Days and/or vendor engagement presentations.
- Track and report on QPL and Certification letters.
- Provide QPL and Certification letters and tracker.
- Coordinate and support the development of key acquisition documents in support of major milestone decisions, such as Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), Integrated Evaluation Frameworks, Developmental Test Frameworks, Requirements Analysis, Test and Evaluation Strategy (TES) briefs and Test Reports up to 10 needed to support each individual project’s acquisition plan and milestones.
- Assist with the evaluation of contract proposals and qualification packages, and aid with monitoring contract and qualification process performance.
- Assist with SME review and disposition of Qualification Verification Packages (QVP), Qualification Data Packages (QDP) and other vendor deliverables in support of EBSP qualification process execution.
- Maintain the Engineering Branch’s TSA Intranet site to ensure key programmatic documentation are stored and updated on the Checked Baggage Program documentation TSA Intranet site and support all stakeholder data integration and reconciliation initiatives as necessary.
- Track and manage equipment acceptance documentation.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of Systems Engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering or another core engineering discipline.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
