About the Role
We’re looking for a seasoned and qualified tax preparer with a "can do" attitude to establish our tax preparation program. This individual will be responsible for everything from software selection to filing of finished returns. We want to implement tax strategy for our existing clients that involves collaboration between our financial advisors and the preparer.
In this role, you’ll prepare and file individual and potentially small business tax returns, review financial statements, and make sure everything aligns with current tax laws. We don't anticipate any marketing with our current client base.
What We Offer

Full-time, onsite at our office in McLean, VA
What We’re Looking For
- Solid experience in tax preparation and knowledge of tax laws
- Understanding of financial statements and reporting
- Experience with individual and small business filings
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or EA designation is a plus
- Familiarity with professional tax software
