Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Location: McLean, VA (4–5 days/week in office)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $140K–$165K base + bonus

Role OverviewAs an FP&A Manager, you will serve as a key financial partner to business leaders, driving financial discipline, strategic planning, and actionable insights across the organization. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning, and play a pivotal role in supporting decision‑making for your assigned business unit.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary Finance business partner for assigned teams, providing financial guidance and supporting strategic decisions
- Lead development of annual budgets, long‑range strategic plans, and monthly forecasts, including headcount and operating expense analysis
- Collaborate with business technology, recruiting, and HR teams to drive efficiencies in workforce planning and internal software spend
- Develop and maintain scalable processes to enhance visibility into financial forecasts and performance
- Drive special projects and conduct ad‑hoc analyses to support new products, marketing initiatives, and growth opportunities
- Prepare presentations and analysis for senior Finance leadership and executive team
- Utilize Anaplan (or similar tools such as Adaptive Insights), Excel, Power BI, and Tableau for advanced financial modeling and scenario planning
- 7+ years of progressive FP&A experience in a business partnering environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact effectively across all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Expertise in Anaplan or similar planning software is highly preferred
- High comfort level operating in dynamic, ambiguous environments with a bias toward execution and results
