The Financial Contract Analyst at CBRE is responsible for managing and analyzing financial contracts related to property management, real estate services, and procurement activities. This role ensures compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and supports budget planning to facilitate sound contractual decision‑making.
Primary Job Functions- Review, analyze, and negotiate contractual agreements with vendors, clients, and service providers.
- Ensure all contracts comply with relevant regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Monitor contract performance, deliverables, and financial status to ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled.
- Assist in the preparation, review, and administration of budgets related to contractual activities.
- Conduct financial analysis to assess risks, cost impacts, and budget adherence.
- Collaborate with legal, procurement, and finance teams to facilitate contract execution and amendments.
- Maintain detailed documentation of contract actions, amendments, and communications.
- Provide training and guidance for staff on contractual and financial compliance matters.
- Support audit preparations and respond to inquiries from internal and external auditors.
- Stay current with industry regulations, best practices in contract management, and CBRE policies.
- Required:
Associate degree. - Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or related field.
- Required:
Proven experience in contract analysis and financial management. - Preferred:
Experience in financial management or procurement, real estate or property management sectors.
- Preferred:
Microsoft Certifications.
This position is based at CBRE, involving collaboration across various departments and external partners. It requires attention to detail, integrity, and adherence to regulatory and company standards.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Strong knowledge of industry regulations and contractual standards.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Maximo, financial software and contract management tools.
- Ability to interpret complex contractual language and financial data.
- U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
Manages contract budgets & tracks expenses.
Travel Requirements- Less than 10% – Occasional travel for audits, training, or team leadership meetings.
