Handling tax in such a large, sophisticated organization takes more than just a technical understanding of current tax practices. As a Sales and Use Tax Senior, we’ll look to you to apply your knowledge to a wide range of tax areas and processes, devising strategic outcomes to some very complex issues. • Work on a diverse array of projects, responsibilities and tasks, providing up-to-the-minute tax advice.
• Collaborate in a highly collaborative culture, listening to and sharing information with colleagues.

• Analyze evolving portfolio of complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights.
• Identify potential opportunities and risks and communicate to clients.
• Research market trends to remain a trusted advisor.
• Develop clear, intelligent plans and approaches to improve client tax activities.
• Research client business operations and build long-lasting relationships.
• Supervise a motivated team of professionals, ensuring they develop skills and reach potential.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline.
• Professional knowledge in sales and use tax processes, concepts and tools.
• Proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organization.
• Technical writing and research experience in a tax context.
• Ability to prioritize when working on multiple complex projects.
• Strong influencing skills and confidence to question existing processes.
• Willingness to travel as needed and working in a balanced hybrid environment.

• Achieved or partially achieved CPA qualification, or membership in Institute for Professionals in Taxation, CMI designation, or ability to sit for state bar.
